E. B. and M. J. B. to the front paste down, set on out this exciting journey from the 8th March to 5th August in 1895.Throughout the volume, to the verso of each leaf, is pasted newspaper clippings from an article named 'Two Ladies in Palestine' by William Paley Baildon. Baildon was a barrister, fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London, and editor of 'The Home Counties Magazine' from 1906-1912. The letters in the article are from S. E. B. and M. J. B. sent to William during their travels. These two women were related to William, perhaps his sisters, daughters, or nieces.Ink to the front paste down, 'Letters from palestine Illustrated, S. E. B.
